Thanks, der Wandersmann. 🙂 There was a group of around 11, and they would all dive under water at the same time. 😎 I think they were either Common or Red Breasted Mergansers – never did get a good clear shot. They only stayed a couple days, probably on their way north to a bigger lake.
Wonderful locale.It looks like there are at least some mergansers in that group.
